Deep Foundations Specialists are delighted to see the 137th tower crane foundation completely designed by ourselves get loaded with a RAPTOR 184 tower crane on our on-going scheme in Stratford, East London.

Unlike 99.9111% of other UK engineering consulting firms, Deep Foundations Specialists distinctively provide full detailed design packages for tower crane foundations. These include; geometric & structural designs for the concrete base, geostructural designs for the supporting piles, designs for the pile-concrete base connections with associated anchor plates/load-bearing nuts/lock nuts/punching shear reinforcements, with complete sets of construction drawings and bar bending schedules accounting for both the concrete base and supporting piles.

Our multi-storey project in Stratford is virtually the largest of our on-going schemes in UK & Ireland, on which we have been continuously active in the last 11 months, while we would remain active on the scheme for the next 10 months.

DFS have been fully responsible for the detailed designs for the mixed-use building’s foundations, temporary works, double-level basement structure and the 8 floor-superstructure.
